Critter Visits

 

 

 

These are some of the critters we've had the pleasure of getting to know this summer. 

 

Raising butterflies and rescuing birds (that seem to be crawling inside our feeder...)  have been some favorite pastimes.  But the surprise of really big frogs, box turtles and a sweet dove have been quite a bonus for the little people. 

 

Young Man has been wanting to hold a dove for the longest time.  And last night as we went out to sit on the patio our good old doggy friend, Woody, happened to find this sweet bird in the grass.  After a very brief check-over, Young Man determined it was fine and it flew off.
